Blogger Friends Irl

Something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately is how some bloggers seem to have such an extended network of blogger friends IRL (in real life). I know a lot of it depends on where you live because obviously larger cities are bound to have more bloggers calling them home. ┬áLiving in upstate New York (like way upstate), I’ve struggled with finding people that even really know what blogging is, let alone finding someone with a shared interest.

At first this didn’t bother me because blogging was kind of “my thing.” Something I did apart from my friends and while they knew what it was I kept it pretty much to myself. Now after after a year of blogging, I feel like that gap in the blogger friends department kind of sucks. It would be great to have someone to chat with or take photos with, etc.

So I’m reaching out to all of you…. if you have a blog, do you think it’s important to have some friends that also have blogs or is it something you enjoy keeping to yourself? Also, does anyone know any bloggers in the Syracuse area? Or resources to find local bloggers? Thanks ahead of time for any insight you have!
